Wanted to give you guys a background story behind why the seller decided to sell his property as-is to us.

So, the seller actually lived in this property, which is located in Reading, Pennsylvania or as some of you may know, Berks County.
He lived in the property for many years and then was relocated with his company to a different state. So then he decided, “Let me just give it a try, I’m going to rent the property.” So he actually did that for a few years.
And, I mean, as some of you may know, those that are landlords know how difficult it is to manage your property when you live close by, so imagine when you’re out-of-state. I’m sure issues arise and he just decided once his tenants had left that he was going to sell the property as-is. He just didn’t want to deal with the headache of having to manage it out-of-state. So he submitted a web inquiry via our website and we decided to come out and take a look at it. And upon entering the property, I could see that there was damage in the house that the tenants had left. And, he actually didn’t even know about the damages because he hadn’t seen the house in many years. And so, we were able to make an offer, a cash offer as-is.
